My Story
I grew up in a small town in Honduras, La Entrada de Copán. I was raised by my grandmother, La Hita, who instilled in me the importance of hard-work. Through her example, she taught me to serve and help others. La Hita did not have much of a formal education, she just finished 3rd grade and despite that she was the most daring businesswoman that I knew, she never gave up.
Thanks to La Hita's example, I have become a woman who fights and works to accomplish my dreams.

Today I am a professional photographer, a business owner, an author, and a mother of three beautiful children. I have two photography brands, Alas Boudoir Photography and Keyla Sanders Photography, I started a Spanish-language podcast, Libres, Soñadoras, Independientes and have just had my memoir published, Mojada: Memoir of a Honduran Immigrant. I feel very blessed and I am grateful to God for everything I have been able to achieve so far in my life.
